NETWORKING

CARASS is very much interested to making linkages and establishing networks with any research center, research organization , think tank, and academic institution of Bangladesh and other countries of the world. The center encourages promoting and maintaining exchange programmes with similar organizations home and abroad. The center also takes initiatives of holding and hosting effective seminars, workshops programmes with participation of local and internationally renowned researchers and scholars. It also arranges special talks, roundtable and lecture programmes.

Professor Dr. Morcel Robischon, Humboldt University, Berlin and Dr. Zillur Rahman, Sr. Research Fellow of the same University met the Vice Chancellor of University of Dhaka Professor Dr. A A M S Arefin Siddique. They exchanged views and showed interest to undertake joint research with the Center for Advanced Research in Arts and Social Sciences (CARASS) at DU on socio-economic issues. Later on the delegation met Dr. Shaikh Abdus Salam, Director, CARASS at his office and expressed their interest to work with CARASS in future.
